Diablo 4 Act 5: A Guide to Quests and Completion Time
In Diablo 4, players embark on a thrilling six-act campaign, exploring the demon-infested world of Sanctuary and conquering formidable quests along the way. Among these acts, Act Five stands out as the most challenging and quest-filled chapter in the game. With an immersive storyline and intense battles, Act Five offers a truly memorable experience for players.
Act Five Quests and Challenges
Diablo 4’s Act Five is not to be taken lightly. With a staggering number of quests, it requires players to overcome various trials and navigate treacherous dungeons. This act, in particular, showcases the franchise’s commitment to providing a lengthy and demanding campaign. In fact, it took me around 40 hours to complete this epic adventure, and every minute was worth it.
For those who enjoy exploring optional content, completing every side quest can easily double the time spent in Act Five. Additionally, replaying the act multiple times is highly recommended for those who wish to relive the excitement.
Act Five serves as the beginning of the end for Diablo 4. Once you conquer this significant section, only a few more quests remain to complete the main storyline. Personally, it was my favorite part of the game. Whether you’re curious about what’s to come or simply want to track your progress, here is a list of all the quests you need to know:
- The Path Divided
- Secrets of the Zakarum & Entombed Hatred
- Witch of the Wastes
- Encumbered Mind
- The Cage of Grief End
- Tainted Flesh
- Wrack & Ruin
- Cold Blood
- Judgment of the Swamp
- The Serpentine Path
- The Slow, Beating Heart
- A Cold and Lifeless Shore
- Picking Through the Bones
- Beneath the Wine-Dark Sea
- Fragments of Mortality
- On the Precipice
- Knee-Deep in Filth
- A Chorus of Voices
- Evil Stirs in Kehjistan
Completion Time for Act Five
Act Five is an extraordinary chapter that truly tests players’ endurance. In my experience, it felt like the longest act in Diablo 4. As you make your way across the vast and sprawling continent, facing numerous bosses and delving into countless dungeons, expect to spend approximately six hours to complete it. Keep in mind that this estimate is based on focusing solely on the main story quests. If you’re a completionist, expect an even longer playtime.
Naturally, the time it takes to finish Act Five will vary depending on the difficulty setting you choose. Even playing on one of the easier modes, I found myself facing numerous challenges while battling Elias, the final boss of this chapter.
The good news is that Act Six offers a much faster-paced experience, taking only around one to two hours to complete. With Act Five behind you, the end of the game is within reach, providing a satisfying conclusion to your journey.
If you’re ready to take on the challenges of Act Five in Diablo 4, prepare yourself for an epic adventure that will test your skills and offer countless hours of enjoyment. Good luck, and may Sanctuary be saved from the forces of evil once and for all.
