Tier Sets: Unleashing Might
In the world of evokers, tier sets reign supreme. The 2-set bonus significantly boosts the potency of spiritbloom and grants a 15% increase in dream breath healing. This emphasis on spiritbloom drives the strength of a spirit bloom-centric build. On the other hand, the 4-set bonus, while less impactful for spiritbloom-centric builds, bestows a substantial increase in essence bursts. This augmentation greatly benefits emerald blossom builds, which heavily rely on essence bursts to conserve mana and deliver exceptional HPS.
Trinkets: Unleashing the Extraordinary
Patch 10.1.5 introduces three trinkets that surpass all others in power: Rashok’s Molten Heart, Screaming Black Dragonscale, and Echoing Tyrstone. The first two can be acquired in the Aberrus raid, while the last trinket is found in the new mega-dungeon called Dawn of the Infinite. It’s important to note that Echoing Tyrstone’s current dominance may prompt future adjustments. Rest assured, we will promptly update you if any such changes occur.
Other trinkets that prove valuable include Ominous Chromatic Essence from the Raid, Spoils of Neltharus from the Neltharus Dungeon, Rainsong from The Vortex Pinnacle Dungeon, and Mirror of Fractured Tomorrows from The Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon. Moreover, the class trinket, Neltharion’s Call to Chaos, while slightly weaker than the top three trinkets, remains a viable choice.
Embellishments and Crafted Gear: Elevating Your Arsenal
Crafted gear presents an excellent opportunity to enhance your equipment, allowing you the freedom to create tailor-made items. However, certain items yield greater benefits than others. Among them, the Adaptive Dracothyst Armguards and Undulating Sporecloak emerge as significant upgrades, highly recommended for crafting with your sparks. After crafting these two embellishments, consider utilizing any remaining sparks to craft items that fill gaps in your gear.
Weapon: Empowering Your Might
Weapons yield the most substantial increase in power. The legendary weapon Nasz’uro, the Unbound Legacy, stands as the pinnacle of excellence. Not only does it possess unparalleled main stats, but it also grants a buff of 500 main stat to yourself or your allies each time an empowered spell like dream breath, spiritbloom, or firebreath is used. Thanks to the updated bad luck protection in Patch 10.1.5, coupled with weekly reclears, obtaining this weapon should become reliably achievable over time.
If fortune has yet to smile upon you with a Sarkareth drop for the legendary weapon, an alternative stands in crafting a weapon with a spark of shadowflame. This option ensures you maintain a formidable alternative should luck remain elusive.
Onyx Annulet and Primordial Stones: Gems of Power
Patch 10.0.7 introduced a remarkable ring, the Onyx Annulet, boasting potent bonuses. However, this ring lacks secondary stats. While it remains a viable choice during the gearing process for evokers, it will likely be replaced once higher item level rings from raids or Mythic+ dungeons are obtained. Do note the slight decrease in stamina when using a lower item level ring.
For healing purposes, the most powerful gem combination for your Onyx Annulet includes the Wild Spirit Stone, Exuding Steam Stone, and Deluging Water Stone. These three gems harmonize to maximize your healing potential.
When it comes to damage output, the dps stones experienced a 40% nerf in the latest patch, while simultaneously boosting our own damage abilities by 10%. Consequently, utilizing the Onyx Annulet for dps purposes is no longer recommended.
With these insights into gearing your Preservation Evoker, you’re now equipped to amplify your power and excel in your endeavors. Stay tuned for any updates or further guidance on your journey!
