Rule The First Civilization In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Judgment Of Atlantis

Explore the Wonders of Atlantis

In the third episode of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s The Fate of Atlantis story arc, players are taken on an extraordinary journey into the mythic city of Atlantis. Unlike the previous episodes, which were set in the realms of the afterlife, Judgment of Atlantis allows players to experience the awe-inspiring city itself. Atlantis is a utopia where humans and the enigmatic Isu, known as the First Civilization, coexist in an ambitious experiment to create a harmonious society. However, beneath its pristine facade lies a world of corruption and incompetence, where the Isu citizens are reluctant to uphold laws that protect humans. In this episode, players assume the role of the ultimate decision-maker, tasked with determining the fate of Atlantis.

The Blessing of Kronos Enhancement

Achieve Balance and Uncover Secrets

Where Fields of Elysium challenged players to dismantle Persephone’s absolute control and Torment of Hades plunged them into the chaotic Underworld, Judgment of Atlantis offers a quest for equilibrium. As a human-Isu hybrid, players represent the embodiment of balance and find themselves appointed as the ruler-judge, known as the Dikastes, answering directly to Atlantis’ leader, Poseidon.

Within Atlantis, players have two major objectives. Firstly, as the Dikastes, they must judge the city and its inhabitants. This entails resolving ethical dilemmas, mediating disputes between citizens, and managing the restless human population. Players must navigate the treacherous political landscape, which sometimes involves suppressing rebellions or organizing brutal arena fights. Unraveling forbidden research and investigating the mysterious presence of a werewolf roaming the streets further complicates the task at hand.

Secondly, players must unlock the untapped potential of the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus. By scanning data caches, message tablets, and other artifacts, players can harness the wisdom of the Isu DNA inherited by their character, whether it be Alexios or Kassandra. As players ascend the knowledge tiers, they gain access to previously restricted areas, unveiling profound insights and acquiring powerful loot.

Face New Challenges with Enhanced Abilities

Navigating Atlantis is not without its dangers. Players will confront well-armed Isu soldiers who guard the fortresses and archives holding the sought-after knowledge and treasures. These superpowered soldiers, along with their formidable commanders, possess the ability to teleport, fire energy beams, and deliver devastating blows. To counter these threats, players can acquire new abilities by finding Keeper’s Insight tablets. These tablets empower players to augment their existing skills, transforming them into formidable weapons. For example, Kronos’ Punishment enhances the Call to Arms ability, allowing players to summon a clone for stealth attacks. Wrath of Ares empowers the Ring of Chaos, creating a field that slows enemies and explodes after a set time. Blessing of Kronos boosts the rate of adrenaline gain and provides immunity to the draining effects of Isu soldier attacks when modifying Venomous Attacks.

Forge Legendary Weapons and Seek Dikastes’ Armor

To further bolster their strength, players can forge three legendary Isu weapons – a mace, a spear, and a dagger. These weapons can be infused with Assassin, Hunter, or Warrior enhancements, tailoring them to suit different playstyles. For example, an Assassin mace allows players to spread stealth attack damage to nearby enemies, making Rush Assassinations devastating in close-knit encounters. However, forging these weapons is no easy feat. Players must first locate the scattered Adamant ingots hidden across Atlantis.

For the ultimate advantage in battle, players can hunt down the five pieces of the Dikastes’ Armor set. Each piece is imbued with a powerful buff, and wearing the complete set triggers an Isu Enhanced state upon getting hit. In this state, players become invulnerable and immune to adrenaline-sapping effects for a limited time. The Isu Enhanced state recharges quickly and can be a game-changer when facing formidable foes. To acquire the full armor set, players must track down the five mighty Isu warriors known as Polemarchs and engage in combat, defeating them and their guards to claim the stolen pieces.

Explore the Dark Mysteries of Atlantis

Unveiling the secrets of Atlantis is not for the faint of heart. Players will delve into the hidden recesses of the city, encountering horrors beyond anything previously encountered. The morally ambiguous nature of the First Civilization adds a darker dimension to the epic adventure.

Embark on the Journey

To embark on this exhilarating adventure, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass owners and those who have purchased The Fate of Atlantis story arc can start playing Judgment of Atlantis on July 16. However, players must be at least level 28 and have completed the preceding episodes, Fields of Elysium and Torment of Hades. For a more streamlined experience, a special shortcut option allows players to jump straight into The Fate of Atlantis story arc at level 52, although progress and achievements earned in this mode cannot be carried over to the main game save.
