Elden Ring 1.09: The Dominant Malekith’s Black Blade & Full Destined Death Build at Level 150
This guide showcases a formidable Malekith Build at level 150 in Elden Ring. Currently on NG+7 and journey 17, this build offers an exhilarating gameplay experience.
Understanding the Build Mechanics
Malekith’s Black Blade possesses a unique skill called Destined Death, which can be highly effective. You’ve probably experienced its devastating power during boss fights. If you fail to dodge behind the boss, you’ll endure massive percentage-based damage. This skill is particularly potent against larger targets due to its percentage-based nature. Although the execution of Destined Death involves a longer animation, the damage it deals is worth the wait. However, be cautious, as the lack of excessive hype or armor means that you can get countered by enemies. Nonetheless, when Destined Death connects, it inflicts immense damage thanks to its percentage-based physical and holy damage. Speaking of stats, it’s crucial to invest mainly in Strength and Faith. Dexterity plays a minimal role, so it requires minimal investment. Strength boosts the physical aspect of the weapon, while Faith enhances the holy damage, encompassing the Ash of War’s effects, as it deals both holy and physical damage.
As we progress to phase two of the fire giant encounter, embrace the thrilling fight this build offers. Malekith’s Black Blade stands out due to its visually captivating Ash of War weapon skill. When utilized correctly, this skill becomes a powerful tool for dealing massive damage. Although it focuses on holy damage, the percentage-based damage compensates for resistances present in the game. As demonstrated, the fire giant suffered substantial damage due to its considerable size and high HP, which makes it vulnerable to percentage-based attacks. Furthermore, we decided to incorporate a couple of other weapons into the mix: the black knife and the deep black blade incantation. It’s important to note that the Black Blade incantation stacks percentage-wise and only applies a single debuff. It can stack with either the Black Blade or the black knife but not both. Combining the Black Knife and the Black Blade incantation is relatively straightforward, especially when you equip a seal in your left hand. This combination offers a fun and effective playstyle. Golden Vow, Howl of Shabriri.
