Best Glyphs for Rogues in Diablo 4

Rogues in Diablo 4 are like glass cannons, dealing immense damage but needing to survive in the process. That’s where the Glyphs used in the Paragon Board come in. These Glyphs are invaluable for increasing your damage output and ensuring your success in battles.

Finding the right Glyphs in Diablo 4 can be confusing due to the sheer number of options available. However, once you strike the right balance, you’ll quickly see your enemies fall before your might. The Paragon Board itself can be overwhelming, with various routes and Nodes to choose from. But fear not, as we are here to help you navigate through the complexity.

In this article, we will discuss the best Glyphs for Rogues in Diablo 4 and also highlight the Stats you should focus on to complement your choices. So let’s dive in!

The Six Best Rogue Glyphs in Diablo 4

Chip

Description: For every five Dexterity purchased within range, you deal 1.5% increased physical damage.
Bonus (40 Dexterity): Physical damage increases the damage an enemy takes from you by 1%, up to 10%, for 15 seconds.

Increasing Dexterity should be one of the top priorities for any Rogue player. Each point in this Stat increases Skill Damage, and the Chip Glyph takes it up a notch. The key feature of this Glyph is the bonus, which requires 40 Dexterity to be bought within range. This bonus allows you to deal up to 10% more damage to an enemy for 15 seconds after you strike them. It’s particularly effective in fights against tough enemies like bosses and elites, allowing you to chip away at their health considerably with each blow.

Combat

Description: For every five Intelligence purchased within range, Core Skills deal increased Critical Strike Damage.
Bonus (40 Intelligence): Skills that Critically Strike restore 12% of their Energy cost.

As a Rogue, your Critical Strike Damage should already be fairly high. However, increasing the Intelligence Stat is vital as it increases the likelihood of landing a Critical Hit on your enemy. The Combat Glyph provides the perfect boost, increasing the Critical Strike Damage from Core Skills. The bonus effect is even more exciting, as it restores 12% of the energy spent when your Skills critically strike. This was the first Glyph I went for in my build, and it remains a crucial part of my endgame setup.

Exploit

Description: For every five Strength purchased within range, you deal increased damage to Vulnerable targets.
Bonus (25 Strength): When an enemy is damaged by you, they become Vulnerable for three seconds. This cannot happen more than once every 20 seconds per enemy.

The Vulnerable status is your best friend as a Rogue. Enemies afflicted by this status take increased damage from you, and the Exploit Glyph continues that trend with a further boost. The bonus effect is the major selling point here. It allows you to consistently afflict the Vulnerable status upon enemies, dealing increased damage to them. This Glyph is useful in two ways: applying Vulnerable to mobs and elite enemies, providing a consistent output of damage.

Ambush

Description: For every five Strength purchased within range, you deal 3% increased damage to targets affected by Trap Skills.
Bonus (25 Strength): Enemies affected by Trap Skills take 10% increased damage from you.

Traps are a massive part of my Rogue build, and the Ambush Glyph perfectly complements my approach. This Glyph provides a straight boost in damage dealt to enemies affected by Trap Skills. But the key part is meeting the 25 Strength requirement for the bonus effect, which results in enemies affected by Trap Skills taking 10% increased damage. This combination works brilliantly when deploying Traps to snare multiple enemies, allowing you to dish out increased damage to them all.

Infusion

Description: For every five Intelligence purchased within range, Skills that are imbued deal 4.5% increased damage.
Bonus (25 Intelligence): Casting an Imbuement Skill reduces the active Cooldown of another random Imbuement skill by half a second.

Imbuements are another crucial aspect of the Rogue’s setup. Whether you’re using Shadow or Poison, the increase of almost 5% damage for every five Intelligence purchased within range boosts the effectiveness of Imbuements. While the bonus effect might not apply to my build, as I run with a single Imbuement, it provides a valuable boost for anyone heading into battle with multiple Imbuements in their setup.

Snare

Description: For every five Intelligence purchased within range, Trap Skills deal 4% increased damage.
Bonus (25 Intelligence): Non-Ultimate Trap Skills have a 25% increased radius.

As mentioned before, make Trap Skills your best friend as a Rogue and use them as much as possible. The AOE damage and statuses they afflict can quickly turn the tide of any battle in your favor. An increase of 4% for every five Intelligence purchased within range is a considerable boost. It works even better when paired with the Ambush Glyph, which leaves enemies affected by Traps taking increased damage. The bonus effect is also useful, increasing the range of non-Ultimate Trap Skills by a whopping 25%.
