Diablo 4 offers players two types of items that can completely transform their playstyle: Legendary and Unique. While Legendary items come in various forms and can have powerful effects, Uniques are even more exceptional and exclusive. Note: Due to the game’s item scaling and the possibility of finding better versions of items you already possess, the numerical values of each Unique item can vary based on the item’s level. Therefore, any numbers that can scale are represented by an “X” in the table below. Keep in mind that these values can change depending on your luck and power level.
New Uniques in Season 1
Season 1 in Diablo 4 introduces six new Unique items into the loot pool, along with several new Legendary Aspects. Each class receives a new ultra-rare Unique item and a new class-specific Unique item. Unfortunately, no new non-ultra-rare class-agnostic Uniques have been added in season 1. Ultra-Rare Uniques
Out of the class-agnostic Uniques in Diablo 4, seven are exceptionally rare items. Obtaining these items can prove to be quite a challenge, as they only drop from enemies that are over level 85. However, when they do drop, they guarantee an Item Power of 820, making them some of the most powerful items in the game. For example, the highly sought-after Harlequin Crest is often considered the best item in various build guides. Keep in mind that these items are aspirational and extremely rare, so it is unlikely that you will obtain one even after dedicating thousands of hours to Diablo 4.
If you do happen to acquire one of these ultra-rare Uniques, rest assured that they are almost always beneficial and designed to work with any build. The only reason to avoid equipping one of these items is if you already have a crucial Unique item for your build in the same slot.
