While some may view its use as cheesy, the developers included it for a reason, and ultimately, players should use whatever weapon they feel comfortable with. The Sword of Night and Flame can be found in the Caria Manor, inside a locked room behind the gardens.

Bloodhound’s Fang

The Bloodhound’s Fang provides players with exceptional mobility early on in the game. Its weapon skill, Bloodhound’s Finesse, allows users to slash upwards and flip in the air away from enemies. This skill serves as a valuable distance-making tool, giving players a taste of the mobility they can expect as they progress through the game. The Bloodhound’s Fang is dropped by Bloodhound knight Darriwil in Limgrave.

Hand of Malenia

The Hand of Malenia is considered one of the most challenging boss weapons in the game. It belongs to Malenia, the Goddess of Scarlet Rot, and possesses unique properties. Its weapon skill, Waterfowl Dance, combines a series of slashes with forward steps, culminating in a flurry of slashes. Notably, this weapon allows players to heal a portion of the damage dealt to enemies. To obtain the Hand of Malenia, players must trade the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess at the Roundtable Hold with Enia.

Rivers of Blood

The Rivers of Blood is a highly sought-after katana for bleed and blood builds. It excels at inflicting bleed damage, making it particularly effective against enemies susceptible to this mechanic. Its weapon skill, Corpse Piler, launches a flurry of attacks formed from cursed blood and is ideal for inflicting bleed on enemies. Moonveil

Moonveil is another formidable katana, comparable to the Dark Moon Greatsword. While its exterior may appear unremarkable, its true power lies in its weapon skill, Transient Moonlight. When activated, the player sheathes the blade, assuming a stance. With another input command, the player unleashes a powerful slash accompanied by a wave of light, dealing significant damage. Moonveil can be found in the Gael Tunnel in Caelid after defeating a Magma Wyrm.

Icerind Hatchet

The Icerind Hatchet may initially seem like an ordinary ice axe, but it offers incredible power and utility. Its weapon skill, Hoarfrost Stomp, creates a trail of ice along the ground that explodes upon contact, inflicting damage and the frost effect on enemies. It is highly regarded by speedrunners due to its ability to quickly deal with bosses and groups of enemies. Players can find the Icerind Hatchet inside the ruined bell tower in the Temple Quarter.

Prince of Death’s Staff

The Prince of Death’s Staff is widely regarded as the best staff in Elden Ring. While it lacks a specific weapon skill, it can be equipped with any Ashes of War, offering versatility in terms of available abilities.
