However, there are times when you need to retreat or strategically reposition yourself, and that’s where the Ghostwalker Aspect comes into play. Locating the Ghostwalker Aspect in Diablo 4
The Ghostwalker Aspect is a legendary aspect of the mobility type, accessible to all classes. It can be equipped on both Boots and Amulets. When equipped with the Ghostwalker Aspect, you gain a 10-25% increased Movement Speed while Unstoppable and for 4 seconds after, allowing you to move freely through enemies. This allows you to neutralize control impairing effects and gain a significant speed boost when using skills such as Charge for the Barbarian or Trample for the Druid, among others. Moreover, the ability to pass through enemies enables you to shift the advantage to your side or even retreat from seemingly hopeless situations.
Fortunately, there are two methods to obtain the Ghostwalker Aspect in Diablo 4:
- You can unlock this aspect in your Codex of Power by completing the Broken Bulwark dungeon.
- Alternatively, you can extract this aspect from random legendary items by visiting the Occultist.
If you choose the first option, make your way to the western part of the Sanctuary and venture into the Westering Lowlands area in the Scosglen region. Head to the southern part of the Westering Lowlands and locate the entrance to the Broken Bulwark dungeon, as depicted in the image above. Upon completing this dungeon, the Ghostwalker Aspect will be automatically unlocked in your Codex of Power. From there, you can imprint it onto your gear as many times as needed.

On the other hand, the second method solely depends on your luck but doesn’t require any prior preparation and is available from the outset of your adventure. You simply need to find legendary Boots or an Amulet with the Ghostwalker Aspect already embedded. Once you have the desired item, visit the Occultist and pay a fee to extract and imprint the aspect onto it. However, it’s important to note that the Ghostwalker Aspect obtained through this method is one-time-use only, unlike the Codex of Power. Additionally, the legendary item that initially contained the aspect will be destroyed during the extraction process.
As for obtaining legendary items, there are various ways to acquire them. Defeating World Bosses, participating in events and PVP, and exploring dungeons are just a few examples of how you can farm for legendary items. However, we highly recommend unlocking World Tier 3 as soon as possible to increase your chances of success.
