Horror’s Least: Unveiling the Ultimate God Roll in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 enthusiasts, gear up to unlock the true potential of Horror’s Least and Horror’s Least Adept. This comprehensive guide will reveal the holy grail of perk rolls for both PvP and PvE engagements. If you’re seeking an unrivaled Pulse Rifle experience, read on!

The Exhilaration of Horror’s Least Adept in PvP

Are you ready to dominate the Crucible? Discovering the perfect PvP God Roll for Horror’s Least Adept is a tantalizing quest. Perceptions may differ, but in my humble opinion, the following configuration would make an ideal PvP roll:

  • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Trait #1: Perpetual Motion
  • Trait #2: Kill Clip
  • Origin Trait: Vanguard’s Vindication
  • Masterwork: Range
  • Mod: Adept Range

Let’s delve into the reasoning behind these choices. With Horror’s Least, maximizing range is paramount due to its inherent limitations. To achieve this, Hammer-Forged Rifling stands out as the most viable barrel option, providing a substantial +10 Range boost without any drawbacks. Alternatively, you can consider Small Bore for this purpose.

In PvP scenarios, Accurized Rounds reigns supreme, granting a noteworthy +10 Range and enhancing the weapon’s reliability at medium distances. However, it’s important to remember that 540 RPM Pulse Rifles cannot out-range their 450 RPM or 340 RPM counterparts, regardless of your efforts.

For stability, rely on Perpetual Motion, which ensures remarkable weapon control, especially when the perk is activated twice. As for damage output, Kill Clip is an indispensable powerhouse. The deadly combination of increased damage and the rapid fire rate of a 540 RPM pulse will leave your opponents helpless.

When it comes to Origin Traits, Vanguard’s Vindication appears to be the superior choice, offering a precious health boost upon eliminating an enemy, potentially saving your life in dire situations. Furthermore, a Range Masterwork is essential for maximizing the range of Horror’s Least, making it a truly formidable 540 RPM Pulse Rifle.

An additional crucial component is the Adept Range mod, which plays a vital role in reaching the weapon’s maximum range potential. Previously, I preferred the Full-auto Retrofit, but since Bungie made Full-auto universal, Adept Range now takes the crown.

Horror’s Least Adept: Empowering PvE Adventures

Don’t overlook the exceptional prowess of Horror’s Least in PvE encounters, particularly with the abundance of anti-champion artifact mods available for Pulse Rifles each season. To unleash its full potential in PvE, the ideal God Roll should comprise the following perks:

  • Barrel: Fluted Barrel
  • Magazine: Flared Magwell
  • Trait #1: Perpetual Motion
  • Trait #2: Kill Clip
  • Origin Trait: Stunning Recovery
  • Masterwork: Handling
  • Mod: Adept Big Ones Spec

Since handling takes precedence in PvE, Fluted Barrel becomes the barrel of choice, offering a significant +15 Handling and a modest +5 Stability. As for the magazine perk, any option suffices, but my personal preference leans towards Flared Magwell due to its impressive reload speed augmentation.

The benefits of Perpetual Motion extend to PvE as well, boosting handling, stability, and reload speed. Kill Clip is a no-brainer, providing that coveted extra damage output, particularly advantageous against Barrier Champions when coupled with an Anti-Barrier Pulse Rifle.

For PvE endeavors, Stunning Recovery takes the spotlight as one of the best Origin Traits. Stunning a Champion instantly replenishes a portion of your magazine, heals 60HP, and grants 40 Recovery for 3 seconds.

To optimize handling, a Handling Masterwork is the perfect companion for Horror’s Least in PvE activities. Elevating its performance further is the Adept Big Ones Spec mod, allowing you to deal additional damage to mini-bosses, bosses, and even Champions.

Obtaining Horror’s Least in Destiny 2 Season 19

Now that you’re craving the power of Horror’s Least, you must venture into the Scarlet Keep Nightfall at Legend or Master Difficulty to obtain it. Excitingly enough, as of the date of this article (January 24, 2023), the Scarlet Keep Nightfall is currently on rotation. Waste no time and seize this opportunity immediately!

For the truly audacious, the Scarlet Keep at Grandmaster Difficulty awaits, offering the coveted Horror’s Least Adept. This pinnacle activity stands as one of the most formidable challenges in Destiny 2. However, even if the normal God Roll serves your needs, rest assured that you’re adequately equipped without the need for the Adept version.
