Marvel Snap Spotlight Cache Schedule for August 2023
Second Dinner unveils the schedule for the Marvel Snap Spotlight Cache in August 2023. This exciting lineup includes new cards like X-23, Lady Deathstrike, and Silver Samurai, as well as the formidable Galactus card.
The Spotlight Cache is a game-changing feature that revolutionizes how players acquire newly released cards in Marvel Snap. Once players surpass Collection Level (CL) 500, this feature replaces Collector’s Caches and Collector’s Reserves every 120CL, offering a fresh and unique experience.
What sets the Spotlight Cache apart is the guarantee it provides. Each time you open one of these special caches, you will either receive a featured card or a random Series 4 or 5 card. This ensures that every draw is exciting and rewarding.

The Spotlight Cache schedule showcases three cards every week. Three of these cards are handpicked by Second Dinner and are available to all players. The schedule will change on a monthly basis, with Second Dinner announcing the upcoming roster of cards before each season begins.

New Cards in Spotlight Cache Schedule
Four new cards introduced in the “Big in Japan” update will be available throughout this season’s Spotlight Cache schedule. Each of these cards offers unique powers and abilities:
- Daken: A 3-cost, 4-power card with an On-Reveal effect that adds the Muramasa Shard to your hand. The Muramasa Shard doubles Daken’s Power when discarded or destroyed.
- Lady Deathstrike: A 5-cost, 3-power card with an On-Reveal effect that destroys all cards with lower Power than itself.
- X-23: A 1-cost, 2-power card that regenerates at a random location when discarded or destroyed, and grants +1 Energy on the next turn.
- Silver Samurai: A 4-cost, 5-power card with an On-Reveal effect that forces each player to discard their lowest-Power card.
Spotlight Cache in Marvel Snap: How it Works
The Spotlight Cache is a fresh addition to Marvel Snap—a reward box that appears on the CL track, filled with S4/S5 cards and their variants. It offers players more cards than ever before, including exclusive and time-limited Spotlight Variants that can potentially be game-changers.
Introduced from CL 500 onwards, Spotlight Caches replace Collector’s Caches and Collector’s Reserves every 120 CL. They feature a unique reward pool of four items, starting as cards and transforming into variants if you already own the card. As you draw from the pool, it gradually shrinks until you have obtained each reward.
The reward pool is reset every week and consists of three specific S4/S5 cards selected by the development team, as well as a random S4/S5 card.
To ensure you make the most of the Spotlight Cache, it might be wise to save them for reward pools that particularly appeal to you. Furthermore, the developers will announce upcoming reward pools at the beginning of each season, assisting in your planning and decision-making.
That’s everything you need to know about the Marvel Snap Spotlight Cache schedule. The roster will change every week, and new updates will be released each season, so be sure to check back here for more details.
