AyumiLove: Enhancing Raid Shadow Legends Champions with Blessings
Introduction:
Raid Shadow Legends has introduced a new feature called Blessings that empowers players to strengthen their champions for tackling challenging content such as Hydra Clan Boss, Demon Lord Clan Boss, Doom Tower, and Dungeons. In this article, we will explore the different types of Blessings available and prioritize their usage based on different game modes.
Blessings Overview:
Blessings are powerful abilities that can transform a Champion’s performance, unlocking new levels of strength. These abilities become available after Awakening your Champion to at least Level 1. Each champion can only use one Blessing at a time, and the chosen Blessing will be indicated on their icon. However, Blessings are only available to Rare, Epic, and Legendary Champions, as they are dependent on Awakening.
Each Blessing belongs to a specific Divinity: Light, Dark, War, or Chaos. Rare Champions can access Rare Blessings, Epic Champions can access Epic and Rare Blessings, and Legendary Champions can access all Blessings. There are 6 Levels for each Blessing, and leveling up is tied to a Champion’s Awakening Level. The benefits of leveling up vary for each Blessing, ranging from improved stat bonuses to unlocking new effects and abilities.
Additionally, if you choose a Blessing for a Champion that is of lower Rarity than the Champion’s Rarity, they will receive additional stat bonuses at certain Levels. For example, if a Legendary Champion takes a Rare or Epic Blessing, or an Epic Champion takes a Rare Blessing.
Blessings can be swapped at any time, similar to Masteries. The first change is free, but subsequent changes will cost Gems. It is possible to switch to any Blessing available from any Divinity, but switching within the same Divinity will be slightly cheaper.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What is a Team Blessing?
A Team Blessing applies to all champions in the team instead of affecting a specific champion on the ally or enemy team. Some Team Blessings cannot co-exist with each other, such as Intimidating Presence and Commanding Presence. In such cases, only the higher rarity blessing will take precedence, specifically Intimidating Presence.
What is a High Awakening Blessing?
Champions who have reached Awakening Level 5 or above can enjoy additional benefits compared to Non-High Awakening Blessings.
What is a Mid Awakening Blessing?
Champions who have reached Awakening Level 3 or above can enjoy additional benefits compared to Non-Mid Awakening Blessings.

Light Blessings
Indomitable Spirit
- Has a chance of blocking Stun, Sleep, and Fear debuffs whenever an enemy tries to place them on this Champion.
Awakening Level:
- 5% chance of blocking debuffs
- DEF +200 (+200 to Legendary Champions)
- 10% chance of blocking debuffs
- HP +1000, ACC +30 (+20 to Legendary Champions)
- 15% chance of blocking debuffs
- 25% chance of blocking debuffs (no cooldown), SPD +5 (+5 to Legendary Champions)
Who should use this blessing?
Indomitable Spirit is ideal for blocking crowd control debuffs from being applied to your champion. However, the success rate of blocking is low, and it does not block all crowd control debuffs. For better results, it is recommended to choose a blessing that provides increased Resist stats along with a wider range of blocked crowd control debuffs, such as Dark Resolve. High Resistance will make your battles more predictable and effective.
Miracle Heal
- Has a chance of restoring a portion of destroyed HP when healing themselves or an ally. The amount of HP restored is equal to a percentage of the heal.
Awakening Level:
- 50% chance to restore destroyed HP when healing, restores destroyed MAX HP equal to 10% of the heal
- HP +1500 (+3500 to Legendary Champions)
- 75% chance to restore destroyed HP when healing, restores destroyed MAX HP equal to 15% of the heal
- HP +1000, RESIST +30 (+20 to Legendary Champions)
- 100% chance to restore destroyed HP when healing, restores destroyed HP equal to 20% of the heal
- 100% chance to restore destroyed HP when healing, restores destroyed HP equal to 35% of the heal. SPD +5 (+5 to Legendary Champions)
Who should use this blessing?
Miracle Heal is useful against Hydra Clan Boss, as the boss can destroy your champion’s Max HP with each healing received. It is recommended for champions who can heal to recover the lost Max HP inflicted by the boss. Champions like Apothecary, Rector Drath, Reliquary Tender, and Vogoth are suitable candidates for this blessing.
Iron Will
- Decreases the damage this Champion receives from enemy skills activated by other skills or when enemies inflict damage when it is not their turn.
Awakening Level:
- Decreases damage received by 5%
- DEF +300 (+100 to Legendary Champions)
- Decreases damage received by 10%
- HP +1000, RESIST +40 (+10 to Legendary Champions)
- Decreases damage received by 18%
- Decreases damage received by 30%, SPD +7 (+3 to Legendary Champions)
Who should use this blessing?
Iron Will is beneficial for reducing damage intake from enemies inflicted through ally joint attack champions or counter-attack champions. This blessing has niche usage and is recommended for defensive champions like revivers or tanks for Arena battles. However, there are better blessings available, such as Commanding Presence or Faultless Defense.
Heavencast
- Debuffs placed by this Champion’s default skill will ignore a percentage of the target’s RES.
Awakening Level:
- Will ignore 5% of the target’s RES
- ATK +400 (+100 to Legendary Champions)
- Will ignore 10% of the target’s RES
- HP +1000, C.DMG +20% (+5% to Legendary Champions)
- Will ignore 20% of the target’s RES
- Will ignore 40% of the target’s RES, SPD +7 (+3 to Legendary Champions)
Who should use this blessing?
Heavencast is aimed towards debuffer heroes, as it provides additional ignore resistance stats so that they can inflict debuffs on enemies with their default ability. However, this blessing does not apply to other abilities they have. It is more effective to equip your champions with sufficient Accuracy stats to consistently inflict debuffs with their Active Skills. It could be used for attacker heroes such as Leorius the Proud and Rotos the Lost Groom to inflict debuffs on enemies, but there are better blessings available that provide better value.
Legendary Light Blessings
Intimidating Presence
- Strengthens your team’s Aura and weakens the enemy team’s Aura.
Awakening Level:
- Strengthens your team’s Aura by 2.5%. Weakens the enemy team’s Aura by 5%
- DEF +400
- Strengthens your team’s Aura by 7.5%. Weakens the enemy team’s Aura by 10%
- HP +1000, RESIST +50
- Strengthens your team’s Aura by 15%. Weakens the enemy team’s Aura by 20%
- Strengthens your team’s Aura by 35%. Weakens the enemy team’s Aura by 20%. SPD +10
Who should use this blessing?
Intimidating Presence is an aura that amplifies your team’s aura effect while reducing the enemy’s team aura effect simultaneously. It is highly recommended for Supporter heroes who are used in many team setups. Recommended champions for this blessing are Arbiter, Lady Kimi, Nekhret the Great, and Ursuga Warcaller.
Lightning Cage
- Whenever an enemy receives a buff or has their Turn Meter filled, this champion gains a Lightning Orb stack.
- When activated, a Lightning Orb stack can protect a random buff from being removed, stolen, or transferred. The Lightning Orb stack disappears after activation.
- Additionally, each Lightning Orb stack inflicts bonus damage to enemy targets based on their MAX HP.
Awakening Level:
- Gains 1 Lightning Orb stack whenever an enemy receives a buff. Lightning Orb stacks have a 50% chance to protect a random buff. Bonus Damage inflicted by each Lightning Orb stack is equivalent to 2% of an enemy Champion’s MAX HP or 1% of a Boss’ MAX HP
- ATK +500
- Gains 1 Lightning Orb stack whenever an enemy receives a buff or has their Turn Meter filled.
- HP +1000, C.DMG +25%
- Lightning Orb stacks have a 75% chance to protect a random buff.
- Bonus Damage inflicted by each Lightning Orb stack is equivalent to 5% of an enemy Champion’s MAX HP or 2.5% of a Boss’ MAX HP. SPD +10
Who should use this blessing?
Lightning Cage is a useful buff that protects your attacker heroes against debuffer heroes, especially in Arena battles. It helps your attacker hero deal additional damage with fully stacked Lightning Orbs based on their Max HP. It is one of the best blessings to deal extra damage and protect your attacker heroes simultaneously. Recommended champions for this blessing are Coldheart, Bellower, Heiress, Maneater, Pain Keeper, and Seeker.
Dark Blessings
Dark Resolve
- Has a chance of blocking Freeze, Provoke, and True Fear debuffs whenever an enemy tries to place them on this Champion.
Awakening Level:
- 5% chance of blocking debuffs
- HP +1500 (+3500 to Legendary Champions)
- 10% chance of blocking debuffs
- HP +1000, RESIST +30 (+20 to Legendary Champions)
- 15% chance of blocking debuffs
- 25% chance of blocking debuffs (no cooldown), SPD +5 (+5 to Legendary Champions)
Who should use this blessing?
Dark Resolve is suitable for Support champions used against enemies who can inflict Freeze, Provoke, and True Fear. It is a better version of Indomitable Spirit because it can handle True Fear rather than Fear, especially for the Hydra Clan Boss Head of Torment. Healers and Reviver champions are recommended for this blessing since you want them to always be ready for emergency rescues.
Phantom Touch
- Has a chance of inflicting bonus damage to enemies whenever this Champion hits them. The bonus damage is proportional to the target’s remaining HP.
Awakening Level:
- 15% chance of inflicting bonus damage
- ATK +300 (+200 to Legendary Champions)
- 30% chance of inflicting bonus damage
- HP +1000, C.DMG +15% (+10% to Legendary Champions)
- 75% chance of inflicting bonus damage
- 100% chance of inflicting bonus damage. 35% chance of inflicting a second instance of bonus damage. SPD +5 (+5 to Legendary Champions)
Additional Information:
- Phantom Touch Damage Multiplier: 5 ATK (with 30% Ignore Defense)
- Phantom Touch damage is not affected by mastery (e.g. Heart of Glory).
- Phantom Touch damage is affected by artifact set (e.g. Savage, Lethal, Cruel) and buff (Increase Attack 25%/50%).
- Phantom Touch is suited for Attack role champions with Attack multiplier, rather than Defense and HP champions.
Who should use this blessing?
Phantom Touch is best suited for damage-dealing heroes in Arena, Clan Boss, Dungeons, Doom Tower, and Faction Wars. It provides bonus damage similar to Warmaster or Giant Slayer, but on a smaller scale. Rare and Epic champions can benefit from this blessing to deal additional damage, while Legendary champions would benefit more from the Brimstone blessing, especially for Support and HP heroes. Recommended champions for this blessing are Coldheart, Bellower, Heiress, Maneater, Pain Keeper, and Seeker.
Cruelty
- Whenever this Champion hits an enemy, decreases their DEF until the end of the Round. Occurs once per hit.
Awakening Level:
- Decreases target DEF by 1% per hit (up to 10% for Champions; up to 5% for Bosses)
- ATK +400 (+100 to Legendary Champions)
- Decreases target DEF by 1% per hit (up to 20% for Champions; up to 10% for Bosses)
- HP +1000, C.DMG +20% (+5% to Legendary Champions)
- Decreases target DEF by 2% per hit (up to 30% for Champions; up to 15% for Bosses)
- Decreases target DEF by 4% per hit (up to 40% for Champions; up to 20% for Bosses). SPD +7 (+3 to Legendary Champions)
Who should use this blessing?
Cruelty is best suited for champions specializing in raiding clan bosses and dungeon bosses as it significantly increases your team’s damage output by reducing the enemy’s defense. It is recommended for champions who can activate counter-attack abilities, joint attack abilities, and multiple hits on bosses. It has a permanent effect on Champions and Bosses, making it an excellent choice for dealing more damage. Recommended champions for this blessing are Deacon Armstrong, Demytha, Maneater, and Warcaster.
Lethal Dose
- Increases the damage enemies receive from Poison debuffs placed by this Champion in the Arena.
Awakening Level:
- Increases damage enemies receive from Poison debuffs by 25%

- Increases damage enemies receive from Poison debuffs by 50%
- HP +1000, ACC +40 (+10 to Legendary Champions)
- Increases damage enemies receive from Poison debuffs by 100%
- Will ignore 35% of each target’s RES when placing Poison debuffs on enemy Champions. SPD +7 (+3 to Legendary Champions)
Who should use this blessing?
Lethal Dose is best suited for champions specializing in inflicting Poison debuffs on enemies. However, Poison is not meta in the Arena as battles mostly focus on AoE Speed Nuke strategies. Additionally, setting up a Poison team for Arena to deal sufficient damage against enemies, even with champions who can activate Poison, is challenging. It is recommended to opt for other blessings that provide better value.
