The developers at Second Dinner are dedicated to maintaining balance and keeping players engaged with the game. In order to achieve this, they regularly release patches that include updates, buffs, and nerfs to cards. If you want to stay up-to-date with the latest changes in Marvel Snap, you’ve come to the right place.
The Latest Marvel Snap Patch Notes
Let’s take a look at the most recent patch notes for Marvel Snap in 2023. Please note that these are the major monthly updates released by Second Dinner. The weekly balance updates, which are released over the air on Thursdays, are not included here.
If you’re interested in reading the older patch notes from previous months, you can head over to Marvel Snap’s Newslist and filter by “Game Updates”.
When Is the Next Marvel Snap Balance Patch?
Marvel Snap receives a new patch every month, according to the developers. These patches are released every four weeks, specifically on Tuesdays. Taking the last patch’s release date into account (12 July 2023), we can predict that the next Marvel Snap Patch will be released on 8 August 2023.
It’s important to note that these monthly patches focus on major changes and fixes in the game. While they may include updates to cards, the main intention is to improve the overall balance and performance. A healthy meta is crucial for the longevity and enjoyment of the game.
Regarding compensation for nerfs to Season Pass cards, there isn’t much information available at the moment. However, it’s common practice in digital TCGs to adjust card stats and effects for the sake of balance. Although compensation is unlikely, it benefits the game in the long run.
