Survivor.io is a popular mobile game that many players enjoy. One of the most frequently asked questions by players is how to add friends and play with them in the game. Well, you’re in luck because these features have finally been added to the game. In this post, I will guide you through the process of adding friends and playing with them in Survivor.io.

How to Add Friends in Survivor.io

Adding friends in Survivor.io is quite simple. To start, tap on the “My Friends” button located on the right side of the Battle screen. From there, tap on the “Add Friend” button. There are two ways to add friends:

1. Adding Random Players: Tap on the Refresh button to get a new list of players. You can then tap on the “Request” button next to a player’s name to send them a friend request. Once they accept your request, they will be added to your friend list.

2. Adding Friends Using Name or Player ID: If a friend wants to add you, they need to send you their name or Player ID first. You can find your own name and Player ID by tapping on your Avatar at the top left corner of the game. Your friend can then enter your details in the “Add Friend” screen. Adding friends allows you to receive 1 energy from each friend and gift 1 energy to them every day. You can receive up to 10 energy per day from friends.

How to Play With Friends in Survivor.io

Playing with friends in Survivor.io is possible, but there are a few things you need to know. Currently, you can only play with one friend at a time, and both players need to be on the same Wi-Fi or Mobile Hotspot. Co-op mode is only available in specific stages, separate from the main chapters, main challenges, and mega challenges.

To play with a friend, follow these steps:

1. Tap on the “Local Co-op” mode on the Trials screen.
2. Tap on the “Create Room” button to host a room. This will display your Room IP, which your friend can copy and use to join the room.
3. If your friend cannot see the room, you can share your Room IP with them. They can enter the IP and tap on the “Join” button to locate and join the room.

Once both players have joined the room, you can choose from 10 Local Co-op stages to play together. By playing with your friends in Co-op mode, you can earn avatar frames and different outfits as rewards.

Please note that playing with more than one friend or playing globally is not yet supported officially. However, there is a workaround to play Co-op mode globally using an external app called “ZeroTier One.” Follow these steps to play with friends worldwide:

1. Download the “ZeroTier One” app from the app store or play store.
2. Open the app, go to Settings, and check “Use Mobile Data” under Network Settings.
3. Tap on “Add Network” and enter the following Network name: 12ac4a1e714a4fb4.
4. Check the “Route all traffic through ZeroTier” option, select “No DNS” under DNS Configuration, and tap “Add.”
5. Enable the network you added from ZeroTier’s main screen.
6. Open Survivor.io and go to the Local Co-op screen. You should see some rooms hosted by other players that you can join and play with.
