How are our values calculated?

To determine the values of pets in Pet Simulator X, we employ a variety of comprehensive metrics. These include insights from experienced traders, feedback from the game’s community, observations from player booths within the game, and the actual in-game Recent Average Price (RAP) of pets. Our goal is to ensure accurate and fair pricing.

To maintain clarity and consistency in pricing, all values are standardized in diamonds. Using diamonds as the universal unit of measurement helps prevent confusion and potential discrepancies, allowing all players to easily understand and compare pet values.

What does the “RAP” value mean?

RAP stands for “Recent Auction Prices,” which is a metric used to evaluate a player’s collection value. It represents the average sold value of a pet at auction. Whenever a pet is sold via the Auction House in the game, the amount is recorded and averaged based on the number of sales and the prices at which they were sold. While RAP is generally helpful, it may not always be the most accurate, especially for extremely rare pets like Titanics or some Huges that have limited sales in the auction house. Additionally, players can manipulate the metric by selling pets to each other to drive prices down.

What are the different Pet rarities?

Currently, there are Normal, Golden, Rainbow, Dark Matter, and Shiny rarities for pets in Pet Simulator X. Among these rarities, Shiny is the only one that cannot be specifically created, making it the hardest to obtain. It’s possible that more rarities will be added to the game in the future.
