Relic Gear Sets in Lost Ark: Everything You Need to Know

Gear set bonuses play a crucial role in Lost Ark’s end-game content. While you may not have to make an immediate choice until later stages, it becomes essential to consider the right gear sets starting at item level 1370. But fear not, as we guide you through the tiers and provide insights into the classes that benefit from each set.

The Early Sets: Tier 1 and Tier 2

In the initial stages of the end-game, the gear sets that come from Abyssal Dungeons don’t offer much variety. You’ll usually have to choose between set A and set B, both offering similar bonuses. However, during this phase, selecting the set with Movement Speed perks might help you progress through the Main Story faster.

Legend Awakens: Tier 3 and Beyond

Once you reach Tier 3 and obtain item level 1370, Legendary gear from Argos becomes available. Equipping this gear grants your character a significant boost in either Critical Hit Rate or Critical Hit Damage. Additionally, having a full set of the opposite gear set within your party provides an extra modifier. At this point, the specific gear set you choose matters less since the content and honing requirements leading up to 1415 have been nerfed.

Legion Commander Sets: 1415 and Beyond

Upon reaching 1415, you gain access to your first set of Legion Commander gear. To acquire these sets, you’ll need to complete the Normal Mode of Valtan, later progressing to Normal Mode Vykas. The Demon Beast Strength and Covetous Whisper sets offer increased damage compared to the Argos gear sets. However, most players tend to skip these sets as they mainly serve as fill-ins for progressing through Hard Mode Valtan at the minimum item level. So feel free to follow suit and move swiftly from 1415 to 1445 without the need to collect this gear.

True End-Game Gear: 1445 and Beyond

At item level 1445, you will enter the realm of true end-game gear. From this point onwards, regardless of your progression, you’ll stick with these sets. Upgrades to these gear sets enhance the effect bonus instead of replacing it, introducing powerful alterations that can transform your class’s playstyle. Let’s explore the details of each gear set and the corresponding classes that benefit from them:
