Exploring Migration in Rise of Kingdoms and the Essentials of Passport Pages

The concept of migration is a key feature in the popular game Rise of Kingdoms, allowing players to relocate to a new server for various reasons, such as joining friends or escaping low-population kingdoms. However, migrating to a new server in Rise of Kingdoms requires the use of migration passport pages.

New migration rules for Rise of Kingdoms are set to be unveiled in mid-March, and these updates are significant. It is crucial for players to stay informed about these changes. The details of the new rules can be found at the end of this article.

Rise of Kingdoms Passport Pages Requirements

The requirements for acquiring passport pages in Rise of Kingdoms depend on the player’s power. The more power a player has, the more passport pages they will need. Refer to the image above to determine the number of passport pages required.

To lower your total power, you can consider eliminating your siege units and filling up your hospital. This strategy effectively reduces your overall power. Additionally, avoiding the use of speedups prevents any power increases.

Here is a breakdown of the power and passport credit cost:

How to Obtain Passport Pages?

Acquiring passport pages in Rise of Kingdoms can be challenging and expensive. There are only two ways to obtain passport pages:

  1. Spending money on bundles available in the in-game shop. One such bundle is called the “New World.” If you are not in a rush to migrate, it is recommended to purchase only one or two packs and wait for the bundle to reset.

  1. Purchasing passport pages with individual alliance credits. This method is more difficult but feasible. To purchase a passport page through your alliance shop, you will need 600,000 individual alliance credits. Additionally, your alliance leader or officer must spend 100,000 alliance credits to restock passport pages.

How to Migrate Using Passport Pages?

When you are prepared and have gathered all the necessary passport pages, zoom out of the map in Rise of Kingdoms. You will notice a globe icon—tap on it to view a list of all available kingdoms. Select the kingdom you wish to migrate to.

Before deciding on a kingdom, ensure that it is developed and has a migration power cap. You can contact the king of the desired kingdom to request an increase in the power cap. Please note that migration is only possible to developed kingdoms.

A developed kingdom refers to a kingdom that has been open for more than 120 days or was established earlier than your home kingdom. Governors from different kingdoms can immigrate to developed kingdoms.

Requirements for Migration

To successfully migrate in Rise of Kingdoms, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Your City Hall must be at least Level 16.
  2. All march queues must be empty, meaning all troops should be inside your city.
  3. Your troops and city must not be under attack or engaged in combat.
  4. You must leave your alliance.
  5. The number of resources you possess must not exceed the protection capacity of your storehouse. Consider donating excess resources to your friends.
  6. All points from participated events will be reset to 0.
  7. After migrating, you must wait for 30 days before being eligible for another migration.
  8. You cannot migrate to kingdoms participating in KVK events.
  9. You can only migrate to developed kingdoms, which are kingdoms that have been open for 120+ days.

Once your migration request is approved, your game will restart, and you will be randomly teleported to the chosen province in the selected kingdom.

Migration in Imperium Kingdoms

Migrating to imperium kingdoms in Rise of Kingdoms is challenging but possible. However, there are specific power limitations for this type of migration. Currently, you can migrate to any imperium kingdom if your power is below 25 million. (Note: The power limit for migration to imperium kingdoms may be increased to 35 million in the near future.)

Alternatively, the second method involves utilizing special immigration chances:

  1. Only the king can approve applications for special immigration. Once approved, the applicant will receive a notification.
  2. Governors who apply for special immigration must meet all other mandatory requirements in addition to the power requirement.
  3. Special immigration chances can be accumulated up to a maximum of three times. At the start of each month, imperium kingdoms will receive one chance.
  4. Only successful special immigration applications will consume special immigration chances.
  5. Special immigration applications remain effective for a duration of three days and are displayed based on the submission time.

New Migration Rules for Rise of Kingdoms Coming in March

We have identified a significant number of governors utilizing the immigration feature to return to new kingdoms during the Season of Conquest. Unfortunately, this has had a detrimental impact on the ability of governors in these new kingdoms to participate in Lost Kingdom events. In light of this, we will be implementing changes to the immigration rules, including the introduction of certain limitations. These changes aim to provide a better gaming experience for governors in new kingdoms.

The immigration system will be redefined, and specific rules will be modified. To facilitate understanding, we will categorize migration into three types, with the exception of using the Beginner’s Teleport to migrate to a nascent kingdom:

  1. Cross-Season Immigration: This type of migration occurs when the current kingdom and the destination kingdom are in different seasons. Cross-season immigration is only permitted if the current kingdom’s server age is older than the destination kingdom’s age.
  2. Same-Season Immigration: Governors may engage in same-season immigration when both the current kingdom and the destination kingdom are in the same season. During the Season of Conquest, there are no restrictions on character registration time for immigration.
  3. Same-Region Immigration: Regions consist of eight kingdoms. Governors can engage in same-region immigration by moving between any of these kingdoms.

Cross-Season Immigration:

  • Cross-season immigration will have a quota. Kingdoms in Season 2 and 3 of Lost Kingdom can receive a maximum of 30 migrating characters per season.
  • Power limits for cross-season immigration will be determined by the king and confirmed 48 hours before the commencement of immigration.
  • Once immigration begins, governors who meet all the necessary criteria can engage in cross-season immigration until the destination kingdom’s quota is met.

Same-Season Immigration:

Same-season immigration is possible during Seasons 2 and 3 of Lost Kingdom. Character registration for immigration is allowed as long as the registering character is no more than 90 days older than the opening time of the destination kingdom. However, during the Season of Conquest, there are no restrictions on character registration time for immigration.

Immigration Start Time:

  • Same-season immigration and cross-season immigration can commence once the destination kingdom enters the preparation phase for Lost Kingdom Season 2.
  • Cross-season immigration ends once the destination kingdom enters the preparation phase for Lost Kingdom: Season of Conquest.
  • After Season 1 of Lost Kingdom begins, subsequent immigration will begin one day after Lost Kingdom ends. Please refer to the Kingdom Info page for more details.

Additional Migration Changes:

  1. Immigration from Rising Kingdoms and Imperium Kingdoms will have fixed power limits. For Rising Kingdoms, the power limit is 10,000,000. In the case of Imperium Kingdoms, the power limit is 15,000,000 for Lost Kingdom Season 2, 25,000,000 for Season 3, and 35,000,000 for the Season of Conquest.
  2. Kingdoms can accept governors with power equal to or exceeding the current entrance requirement through special immigration. Special immigration will not count towards a kingdom’s cross-season immigration quota.
  3. An immigration scheduling feature has been introduced. Governors can select a kingdom that is currently in the middle of a Lost Kingdom event and will receive notifications when immigration to that kingdom becomes possible.
  4. These changes will not affect the utilization of Beginner’s Teleport items.
  5. These changes will be implemented in mid-March. You will receive a detailed official notification before they take effect. As an incentive for governors considering immigration, we will send a “New World” bundle to all governors who migrate before the changes are implemented. This offer does not conflict with the original bundle. These changes aim to enhance the overall gameplay experience in Lost Kingdoms.

Stay updated and adapt to the new migration rules to ensure a seamless rise to power in your chosen kingdom!
