Destiny 2: Hung Jury SR4 (Adept) – The Ultimate Roll for PvE and PvP [Updated April 2023]

The Hung Jury SR4 (Adept), an exceptional Kinetic Legendary Scout Rifle introduced in Destiny 2 Season 14: Season of the Splicer, has made a comeback as the reward for this week’s Grandmaster Nightfall rotation in Proving Grounds. Now is the perfect time to discuss the perks you should aim for when farming your Hung Jury.

Hung Jury SR4 (Adept) PvE God Roll

Scout Rifles are highly sought-after weapons for challenging endgame content in PvE. These weapons allow you to deal maximum damage while maintaining a safe distance from enemies. Here is the optimal PvE God Roll for the new Hung Jury SR4 (Adept):

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake/Fluted Barrel
  • Magazine: Flared Magwell
  • Trait #1: Shoot to Loot/Rapid Hit
  • Trait #2: Kinetic Tremors
  • Masterwork: Handling/Reload Speed
  • Mod: Adept Big Ones Spec

Prioritizing Handling and Reload Speed, this god roll eliminates recoil and enhances your performance in PvE activities. Shoot to Loot is an excellent utility perk that allows you to pick up ammo while keeping your distance from enemies. Kinetic Tremors, a new perk introduced in Season 20, triggers damaging shockwaves on targets every six shots, picking up any nearby ammo and even Orbs of Power. The Adept Big Ones Spec mod amplifies damage against Powerful Combatants and Bosses. Additionally, when equipped with the appropriate artifact mod, the Hung Jury is an excellent choice for countering Unstoppable Champions in Season 20!

Hung Jury SR4 (Adept) PvP God Roll

Scout Rifles are currently dominating the Destiny 2 PvP meta. Even if you’re not a fan of Crucible, Iron Banner, or Trials of Osiris, having a PvP God Roll Hung Jury Adept in your Guardian’s arsenal is always beneficial. Although the perfect god roll varies for each playstyle, here are my recommendations:

  • Barrel: Small Bore
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Trait #1: Rapid Hit
  • Trait #2: Box Breathing
  • Masterwork: Stability
  • Mod: Adept Range

This build focuses on improving Stability and Range, which are crucial in any PvP engagement. Rapid Hit enhances Reload Speed and Stability with each precision hit. Box Breathing, an underrated perk, significantly increases the Hung Jury’s damage on the opening shot, making it capable of two-tapping enemies at range. How to Obtain the Hung Jury SR4 (Adept) in Destiny 2 Season 20

The Hung Jury Adept is this week’s guaranteed reward for completing the Proving Grounds Nightfall at Grandmaster difficulty. The non-Adept version of the Scout Rifle can also be obtained by completing the Nightfall on lower difficulties (Hero/Legend/Master).

Proving Grounds is the first Vanguard Strike in Season 20’s weekly Grandmaster Nightfall cycle, which began on April 11, 2023, at 9:00 AM PST/12:00 PM EST. You have one week to grind for the best rolls before the Scout Rifle is removed from the rotation next Tuesday.

The Hung Jury (Adept) is one of Destiny 2’s finest Legendary Kinetic Scout Rifles with a rapid fire rate. If you enjoy using long-range weapons, make sure to obtain this Grandmaster Nightfall-exclusive rifle. After it is removed from the reward rotation, it may be a long time before it becomes available again. Best of luck with your grind, Guardian!
