In RAID: Shadow Legends, Dungeons are where you can obtain gears, master scrolls, and ascension potions.

Dungeon Mode

The bosses in Dungeons are more formidable compared to campaign bosses. While campaign bosses can be defeated without a specific strategy, Dungeon bosses require careful planning. Understanding the abilities of each boss is crucial.

Except for the Spider Boss, each dungeon raid consists of two waves of enemies before facing the boss. There isn’t a particular strategy for clearing the first two waves; you simply need to be strong enough.

In general, when raiding Dungeon bosses in Raid: Shadow Legends, it’s ideal to have numerous buffs and debuffs. Lower their defense to increase your damage output, slow them down to inflict more damage, and utilize counter-attack buffs to strike the boss multiple times (since they all possess area-of-effect skills). The counter-attack buff is especially useful in Dungeons because there are times when your Champions mistakenly attack the regular mobs instead of the main boss.

Potion Dungeons

  • Arcane Keep
  • Spirit Keep
  • Force Keep
  • Magic Keep
  • Void Keep
  • Minotaur’s Labyrinth

Potions are essential for upgrading and ascending Champions in RAID: Shadow Legends.

Ascending only provides a slight boost to the base stats.

Some Champions have improved or unlocked abilities at 3-star ascension.

5-star ascension allows Champions to equip Amulets, while 6-star ascension enables them to equip Banners.

Certain stats can only be increased at 6-star ascension, such as Accuracy, Resistance, and Crit Damage.

Since ascension only provides a small boost, it’s advisable to ascend Champions if it enhances their skills or unlocks an equipment slot.

Only ascend a Champion to 3✭ if it improves or unlocks their abilities. Otherwise, wait until you can ascend them to 5✭. Ascending to 4✭ is a waste of energy as it provides only minimal benefits.

With the exception of Arcane Keep, each Potion Dungeon unlocks on specific days of the week:

  • Spirit Keep, Force Keep, and Magic Keep rotate daily.
  • Void Keep is only available on Sundays.

In each Potion Dungeon, all enemies, including the boss, share the same affinity. The boss of Arcane Keep has Void affinity, while the first 2 waves of mobs have different affinities.

  • Stages 1-3: Lesser Potions – 6 Energy per attack.
  • Stages 4-7: Lesser & Greater Potions – 8 Energy per attack.
  • Stages 8-15: Lesser, Greater & Superior Potions – 10-12 Energy per attack.

The Affinity (Faction) System in RAID

Although higher dungeons offer better rewards, there’s no need to farm there if you don’t yet require the higher-level potions.

Gear Dungeons

There are four dungeons in RAID: Shadow Legends that drop gears:

  • Ice Golem’s Peak
  • Dragon’s Lair
  • Fire Knight’s Castle
  • Spider’s Den

Dragon, Ice Golem, and Fire Knight follow the same gear drop patterns and energy costs:

  • Stage 1: 1-2✭ Gears
  • Stage 2: 1-3✭ Gears
  • Stage 3: 2-3✭ Gears
  • Stage 4: 2-4✭ Gears
  • Stages 5-6: 3-4✭ Gears
  • Stages 7-9: 3-5✭ Gears
  • Stages 10-15: 4-6✭ Gears

Please note that 6✭ Gears are currently unavailable in the game but may be introduced in the future.
