Genshin Impact Letters Unveiled: A Journey of Secrets and Betrayal

A Letter With Beautiful Handwriting (I)

To Diluc: A brewing storm within the Knights of Favonius is underway. Varka’s inner circle is gearing up to investigate Eroch and his cronies, and it seems likely that Eroch’s reign is about to crumble. I know you may not be thrilled to receive this letter, but I wanted to inform you as soon as possible. No need to reply.

A Tidily Written Letter

To the heir of the Ragnvindr Clan: Apologies for the suddenness of this letter. You may not remember me, but we’ve crossed paths a few times. I recall seeing you at the square, at the Good Hunter, and at your tavern, always busy and lively in the company of your brother and friends. Maybe this will jog your memory. I must express my condolences regarding your father. You were always seen as the model knight, proud and honorable. But I know you have a gentler side. Your kindness towards Klee speaks volumes. So let me treat you as my own. I hope you find solace and venture out into the world, experiencing all its wonders. Keep your spirits high, young child.

Letter Addressed to Ms. Alice

Dear Ms. Alice, when I read the opening lines of this letter, I was taken aback. I must admit that I failed to notice your presence near me. Please forgive me for that oversight. As for Klee, I have heard that you are an exceptionally powerful witch, so I can assume she was in good hands even without my presence. Nonetheless, I appreciate your letter. As you’ve suggested, I will embark on a journey to explore the world and honor my father’s legacy. Klee is welcome to stay at Dawn Winery as a guest in my absence. And if you don’t mind, feel free to drop by. Take care.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (II)

To Diluc: I was somewhat surprised to learn of your decision to embark on a journey. Jean wanted to persuade you otherwise, but I advised against it. Varka is unaware of your plans as well. It’s best to keep your departure discreet to minimize goodbyes. Leave at night to reduce the sadness. Take care.

A Letter With Rough Handwriting

Diluc, Jean recently wrote to me with shocking news. According to her, your father Crepus met a tragic end, and Eroch stole credit for slaying the drake that cost your father’s life. There’s no place for stolen credit within the Knights of Favonius. I have granted Jean the power to punish Eroch severely. Mondstadt awaits your return, and the Knights will always welcome you. Take care, my friend.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (III)

To Diluc: Good news! Eroch won’t be as difficult to bring down anymore. Jean is taking charge of the investigation, and he will soon be dealt with. Just sit tight and await the good news.

A Letter With Clear Handwriting

Master Kaeya stayed at Dawn Winery for a few days. It was a pleasant surprise to have him back in his old room, pacing around the grounds and relishing his favorite dishes. We didn’t refuse his request, as we believe even you would have welcomed him. Dawn Winery has always been a peaceful place, and Kaeya’s presence enlivened it. We hope you are doing well on your travels. Everyone here at the winery misses you. Stay safe and be well.

Letter Addressed to Grand Master Varka

Master Varka, I express my sincere gratitude for your condolences and concern. My father would have been honored to receive your compliments, especially from the Knight of Boreas. I am currently on a journey, and luckily, your letter reached me safely. I won’t be rejoining the Knights of Favonius, but I will always remember the lessons they taught me. Take care of yourself.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (IV)

To Diluc: Some interesting news. Businessmen who had left Mondstadt have returned, and they seem troubled. I overheard them mentioning you and found some of their coded notes. I returned the pages to Angel’s Share. It seems these notes are somehow related to you. Quite the mystery, isn’t it? Rest assured, I’ll keep this a secret.

A Letter Addressed to the Acting Grand Master

Dear Jean, thank you for your concern. The incident is no longer weighing heavily on my mind. Eroch’s punishment was a necessary step to correct the mistakes of the Knights of Favonius. As for my safety, you needn’t worry too much. The Knights should focus on those in need while I continue to watch the Abyss Order. Stay healthy.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (V)

To Diluc: I didn’t hide it from you on purpose. I suppose you discovered the truth on your own. Not everyone wearing an eyepatch is blind, after all. Some wear it to cover a scar. Exciting news! I plan to bring a glass of wine to watch Eroch’s departure on his last day. Join me if you want. I know you’re not the type, but it could be fun.

A Letter With Elegant Handwriting

Dear Diluc, welcome back to Mondstadt. Eroch’s betrayal has been exposed, and he has been severely punished. Hopefully, this news brings you peace of mind. Additionally, the Abyss Order’s activities have escalated near Wolvendom and Stone Gate. Beware of the “Darknight Hero,” a mysterious figure suddenly appearing in Mondstadt. Stay safe and report any suspicious activity to the Knights. We stand ready to assist you. Your contributions to the Knights of Favonius will never be forgotten. Take care of yourself.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (VI)

To Diluc: The Darknight Hero has been making quite a name for himself, fighting against the Treasure Hoarders, monsters, and even the Abyss Order. He seems to be on our side, but the Knights cannot condone vigilantism. Perhaps you could get to know him and offer some advice? You two might get along well. Just a thought.

Letter Addressed to “K” (I)

To K: The Knights need to take statements from witnesses who claim to have seen the Darknight Hero near Dawn Winery. I’ve been assigned to this mission, meaning I’ll be visiting you in three days. It seems the Grand Master believes a face-to-face conversation can improve our relationship. Don’t worry, I won’t spill any secrets. It’s merely a formality. A three-day notice should suffice, I presume.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (VII)

To D: The appearance of the Darknight Hero has bought the Knights valuable time against the Abyss Order. Jean persuaded the Knights to ease up on stopping him. However, this doesn’t guarantee his safety. Acting alone can be dangerous. I advise against it.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (VIII)

To D: The Darknight Hero’s exploits have weakened the Abyss Order during their recent attack. This convinced Jean to shift the Knights’ focus away from apprehending him. While it grants him more freedom, it doesn’t necessarily improve his situation. Precise instruments are prone to damage. You know firsthand the perils of acting alone. I would advise against it.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (IX)

To D: Dawn Winery remains unscathed, and the Knights only suffered minor injuries. However, a local merchant’s employee has gone missing near an Abyss Order activity zone. The Knights are dispatching a rescue team. Be aware that the Abyss Order has grown more dangerous, launching multi-pronged offensives. It might be wise for the Darknight Hero and the Knights to join forces. Let’s ensure everything goes smoothly.

Letter Addressed to Mr. Albedo

Dear Mr. Diluc, it would be my pleasure to investigate the ley lines together. As an alchemist, my knowledge of ley lines is limited, but I’ll share what little I know. Records suggest that ley lines can store information and release it periodically. By understanding the ley lines’ mechanics, we might uncover the Abyss Order members who control them. I’ve included a copy of my paper on the flow of ley lines. I hope it helps clarify any doubts.

Letter Addressed to “K” (II)

To K: Cooperating with the Knights has its pros and cons. I’m sure you understand that better than anyone. But don’t worry about my safety; self-preservation comes easy. It’s the pursuit of my goal that proves challenging. Take care of yourself.

A New Letter

Dear Darknight Hero, the Knights of Favonius have increased their guard throughout Mondstadt discreetly. I’m currently scouting around Dragonspine, and so far, there are no signs of enemy activity or monsters. If you can confirm the same for other locations, it’s safe to conclude that the Abyss Order isn’t behind the recent ley line disturbances.

Mysterious Box in a Secret Compartment

Inside the box, you’ll find several peculiar objects. One of note is a sheet of paper with parts burned away, revealing childlike handwriting. The remaining lines seem to have been carefully rewritten by an adult, reminding you of a child being guided by a guiding hand. There are also two letters from “D” in excellent condition. A cloth bag containing an aged eyepatch and some seashells lies next to the letters.
